MAB International Services Inc. was established in 2004

MAB International Services Inc. (MABIS) was established in 2004 through the vision and collaboration of former Filipino diplomat Mr. Eduardo L. Burgos Jr.  and Australian migration adviser Mr. Howard Neil Donkin.

MABIS carved its niche as the first Manila-based manpower agency authorized by the then Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA)—now the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW)—to deploy professional health workers to Australia.

A pioneer in ethical recruitment, MABIS was also the first Philippine recruitment agency to implement a “No Placement Fee” policy, setting a benchmark for fair and responsible overseas employment practices.

Since 2005, Mrs. Vilma Batac-Burgos  has served as the company’s President and CEO, guiding MABIS through various challenges, including the global pandemic, with resilience and integrity.

MABIS has consistently maintained its “good standing” status with the DMW since its inception in 2004, a testament to its compliance and commitment to excellence.

As a long-standing member of both the Overseas Placement Association of the Philippines (OPAP) and the Philippine Association of Service Exporters Inc. (PASEI) since 2005, MABIS continues to uphold the highest standards of ethical recruitment.

Certified by the DMW, MABIS is actively engaged in deploying Filipino trainees to Japan under the Employment for Skill Development Program (ESDP)—formerly known as the Technical Intern Training Program (TITP)—as well as the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) program, bridging Filipino talent with global opportunities.

Our Vision

MABIS was founded with a dual purpose: to meet the growing global demand for professional and skilled Filipino workers, and to serve as a strategic bridge—matching world-class Filipino talent with top-tier international employers, and vice versa.

Our Mission

1. To contribute to poverty alleviation by connecting highly skilled Filipino workers with reputable employers abroad.

2. To highlight the global competitiveness of Filipino professionals in the international labor market.

3. To support Filipino workers in maintaining strong family ties while working overseas.

4. To enhance the quality of life and well-being of Filipino workers and their families.
